CSD Child Nutrition Services

Del Sol School works with the Cypress School District Child Nutrition Services department to provide meals for Del Sol School students. CSD Child Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals dedicated to student health and well-being. Our department is committed to providing healthy meals and snacks to the students at the Cypress School District in order to support their academic success and promote lifelong healthy eating habits.


School meals are served to students under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. Following the nutrition guidelines prescribed by the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, we serve whole grain-rich products, a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, low and fat-free milk, and 100% fruit and/or vegetable juice.

How to Apply

Online applications are typically processed within 24 hours. Paper applications may take up to 10 school days after receipt in the Child Nutrition Services office to process. However, it may take longer for paper applications at the start of the school year due to high volume.

You will be notified by email (or US Mail if no email address) of your application status. Until notification, you must provide your child with a lunch or lunch money.
